Dr. Maria Gregoria Concepcion is an Assistant Professor at the Higher Colleges of Technology, United Arab Emirates. She holds a PhD in Education in English Language Teaching (ELT). Dr. Concepcion comes with more than 25 years of international experience in higher education teaching diverse culture. She has worked in countries like Singapore, Indonesia, Korea, and Oman. Her research interests include Pedagogy and Technology, Learning Analytics, Hybrid Learning, Curriculum Design, and Assessments. She has published a number of publications in international journals on language studies, learning approaches, teaching with technology, and assessment techniques. Dr. Concepcion has presented her papers in various international academic conferences in Rome, Budapest, France, and the UAE. She is also a Scientific Board and Reviewers’ Committee member of various professional organizations. She has served as chair and technical committee member for many international conferences. Dr. Concepcion is a Certified Expert in Digital Teaching and Learning by Blackboard Academy.
