The annual TESOL convention offers English language teaching professionals and scholars from around the globe the premier opportunity for professional development. Educators and scholars from more than 100 countries exchange ideas and practices, explore a wide range of topics and current trends, expand their professional networks, engage in mentoring on research and other projects, review the latest professional publications and resources, and learn about advocacy efforts in their community and around the world.

Teaching Young Learners

Recent development in the field of language learning and teaching has proved that the cognitive development of young learners (YLs) is strikingly different compared to that of adults and thus makes learning and teaching quite different in YLs. On the other hand, most of the teacher training courses including CELTA, TEFL, and TESOL focus hugely on training adults. It seems vital to address the unmet needs of the pre- and in-service teachers who are working with the YLs.

TESOL Italy 44th national Convention

TESOL Italy (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a grass roots organization, run by teachers and for teachers. It is a non-profit Italian organization founded in 1975 by Mary Finocchiaro and Renzo Titonealong with other foreign language teaching experts and pioneers. It has approximately 400 members in Italy and abroad and is an affiliate of TESOL International Association, based in Virginia, USA, with over 11,000 members worldwide. TESOL Italy is also accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education (MIUR) Direttiva 170/2016

Black English Language Professionals and Friends (BELPaF) Inaugural Symposium

In keeping the mission and goals of BELPaF in mind and continuing to maintain a high level of
professionalism and self-reliance, we will provide an opportunity for our members and friends to come
together in collegiality, present our data, and support one another. In the face of racism and other forms
of marginalization, we vow to sustain our professional endeavors and empower ourselves and each other.

39th Thailand TESOL International Conference 2019

The theme of the conference is “Changes and Chances in ELT.” Under the theme ''Changes and Chances in ELT '', this year's conference provides an open arena of discussion for ELT educators in Asia and across the globe in the age of 21st-century literacies. Our goal is to create a forum for in-depth discussions on managing changes in English language teaching, days of inquiry and critical engagement in finding supportive and collaborative working environment that will promote effective classroom practices for the benefits of English and foreign language learners.

TESOL 2019 International Convention & English Language Expo

Professionals and scholars from all English language teaching (ELT) educational contexts worldwide and all related fields and content areas are invited to submit proposals for the TESOL 2019 International Convention & English Language Expo. All submissions must adhere to the guidelines in this Call for Proposals and support the mission and values of TESOL International Association.
