Dr. Li has been teaching at the Language Centre, Hong Kong Baptist University, since 1995. Serving currently as Director of the Centre, she has supervised numerous projects and language enhancement programmes. She holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics from Lancaster University. She has published articles in journals of applied linguistics including System, Journal of English for Academic Purposes and Asian Journal of Applied Linguistics. Her recent projects are on peer tutoring in academic writing, English Across the Curriculum and Nurturing global citizenship through English.
