The conference committee is pleased to announce the confirmation of 3 keynote speakers! Dorothy Zemach’s topic ‘The (Dis)comfort Zone’ will address the effect of teaching and learning online. Dorothy’s presentation takes place on Thursday at 11:20. Friday offers 2 keynote opportunities. Gavin Dudeney will be presenting remotely at 11:20 when he will discuss the case for a more practical approach to the use of technology in the classroom: mobile devices. We are very grateful to National Geographic Learning for sponsoring our third speaker. Christien Lee who previously presented in 2015 will be presenting at 12:40. His focus will be e-learning which is also relevant to this year’s theme. In addition to these motivating speakers, and over 110 educational sessions, you will want to check out some of the other highlights including the annual Ministry Panel, TESL’s Annual General Meeting, Tech Know sessions, Career Connections, Posters, the exhibitors’ area and of course the Welcome Reception which is on Thursday evening.
